This weekend, we made juggling balls with A. Nathan seems more interested in the actual learning to juggle bit though. They are really easy and satisfying to make. You need some good balloons, a funnel and some rice, along with a pair of sharp scissors.
1. Firstly inflate balloon to size of required ball and fit over the mouth of a funnel. (this can be improvised with a plastic drink bottle).
2. Pour in rice to fill to the required size.
3. Cut off top of balloon, rest carefully on surface.
4. Cut neck off another balloon and stretch over first to cover hole.
5. Continue up to about 5 layers
Last few layers you can cut more holes in the balloons so that the other colours show through.
