We went down to St. Ives for our honeymoon and had a really lovely time, it rained, and was windy, but we sat in lovely cafes and restaurants and looked at the beautiful St. Ives harbour and ate lovely food in bijou little restaurants. We stayed in a little apartment on The Terrace overlooking the bay - you could see across to Gwythian too. Nice place, but noisy tocddlers upstairs woke us up at 6.30 every morning. Went to the Tate and had a look at the John Hoyland and Tony O Malley exhibition, which was very interesting. I liked Bryan Pearce too.

Surfed at Gwythian, and had a good one to one lesson with the lovely Giles, which was very helpful and he taught me a new way of popping up which is much better that I've been taught before. He said I hadn't learnt any bad habits and was generally very encouraging.
