What a good weekend, it is amazing how things get better by such little degrees that you do not notice them. At times I have found it hard adjusting to my new life with Alex and Nathan, and they have no doubt found it hard adjusting to me, but this weekend I realised that we were becoming a family and that there was a comfortableness about our interactions that just seems so have evolved. Alex is much more easy with me, and seeks out my company now, and we made a fire in the chiminea on saturday night, after a good afternoon of pottering in the garden, and Nathan and I have a really good relationship. I really enjoy talking to him, and I also know that if I need to tell them off about something they will not bear a grudge against me (as long as I am fair, which I hope I am).
Sunday Alex and I met Elin for a coffee in the W. gallery, and then to Ikea, for more home-making on Elins behalf. her house is really taking shape now and looks cozy and calm. It is lovely to see Elin so enthused about her new house. I had a lovely time sorting out cupboards at home when P was out surfing on Sunday.
